When I painted Old vs New in 2016 I knew this was a special painting. I thought my birds really told a story and the longer I look at it, the more I see. I had a flying machine phase a couple years ago, a few bugs and birds and women were drawn or painted in flying contraptions that looked a lot like this one. What a great phase that was!
This weekend I sold my painting and it went to a wonderful home. Goodbye, my beautiful painting!
